Import 4K H.265 form Canon EOS C70 to DaVinci Resolve 17

“I know that DaVinci Resolve 17 is h.265 compatible, but apparently not with Canon EOS C70 version. It won’t import. Any work arounds?”

“I decided to give a trial a shot of DaVinci Resolve 17, I have never used it before (coming from Premiere Pro). But it won’t import any of my h265 files that were recorded from my 4K H.265 footage. These are the raw files from the Canon EOS C70 , have not been transcoded or touched. When I try to import them it says “unsuported format or damaged file”. I can import h264 recorded footage from the same camera without issue. Any ideas?”
